Weddings at Wheatley Hills RUFC
Congratulations on your forthcoming wedding and thank you for considering Wheatley Hills RUFC as your venue. Situated on the north side of Doncaster just out of the town centre, with plenty of green space and off road parking makes it an ideal venue for your special occasion. Your special day is all about you this is where our polite professional staff will endeavour to help your big day run as smoothly and as stress free as they possibly can, providing you with a day that you will always remember.
The Dunkerley Suite, is a purpose built, self contained facility is the perfect venue for your wedding, with a capacity to cater for 70 to 150 seated guests or maybe a buffet carvery for 100 plus guests should you prefer and with seasonal air conditioning makes it the perfect venue anytime of the year.

Room Hire for special occasions
Wheatley Hills RUFC boasts two spacious function rooms ideal for all kinds of events with a fully licensed bars, licensed to play music live or DJ, various food packages and with the capacity to hold 150 people it is the perfect place for a Birthday function, Christening, Funeral or an engagement party, so why not celebrate that special day with us. Along with fully secured grounds you can put your mind at ease and enjoy the event in the knowledge that the young ones are in a safe environment. For reservations contact Andy the Bar Manager at the Club.
A special occasion deserves a special venue, and while you may agonise over the guest list, catering or the entertainment, there is one venue that makes the decision-making process a lot simpler.
Birthday Celebrations
Another year older and another excuse to celebrate. It’s time to throw a party! Let your hair down and enjoy an evening with your friends and family. Depending on numbers you can choose between the Dunkerley Suite and the Clubhouse.
Anniversaries
One year or 50 years, a wedding anniversary is a time for celebration and often a trip down memory lane, invite your friends and family no matter how many we can accommodate your requirements. Have a live band or a disco choose from the various menus put together by our executive chef to make the event a special one.
Baby Showers
A baby shower is the perfect occasion to celebrate motherhood with friends and family whether it’s for the first time or not. We can help arrange the occasion and keep it a surprise if needed! Particularly enjoyed with our brunch or afternoon tea menu.
Christenings
Celebrate the birth of your child with us, make the celebrations a bespoke one with your choice of music, food and table dressings all making for an unforgettable day.
